| Packing
After roasting the bean, the coffee is packed in two different options: whole bean or ground.
The material usually used to guarantee the protection and conservation of the coffee is made of aluminium, polyester and polythene.
The most common packing methods are:
· Aluminium container with one direction valve that allows the exit of the CO2 outside but avoids the entrance of the O2 at the container.
· Vacuum-packed.
·
Packed in a modified atmosphere where the air composition inside the pack changes O2 for an inert gas (CO2 or N2).
The date of preferred consumption is one year.
