| Coffee history
There are several legends about the appearance of the coffee. The one that seems to have more acceptation talks about a shepherd and his goats in the Kaffa region (nowadays Yemen) in the VIII century, what it could explain the present denomination of Coffee.
After the first use and enjoyment of the coffee by the monks of kaffa, the coffee arrived to Turkey and from there jumped to the West.
Later, it arrived to America and was spread thanks to the indiscretion of a French lady who delivered the plant of coffee to a Brazilian official as a sign of love.
After this briefly review we can quote as a curiosity the opening date of the first western café. It was the Venezia Café in 1720. From then on, the coffee has become something inherent to the worldwide culture.
